This is a diary describing my journey of how I transitioned from a Baby Boomer/ IT Professional to a Stock Trader.  Hopefully, it will inspire others to relentlessly pursue their own Entrepreneurial Spirit.

About

I am your average 55+ year old who has worked in IT for over 20 years.  I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Business Administration. I guess you could say I have spent the bulk of my adult life in pursuit of self-employment.

I am also a Private Pilot with a side business that I started in 2006 doing Aerial Photography in the greater Washington, DC – MD – VA area.  Aerial Photography has been the most enjoyable work I have ever had the privilege of performing.  You can see a portfolio of my work at  Potomac Aerials.

Although my IT career has been very good to me and provided a comfortable living for my family, I have always desired to have freedom from cubicle life.  However, after much searching and trying I could not seem to find a business that would meet all of my needs.

That is until that fateful day in April 2016 while watching the Steve Harvey Show, I saw an interview with three highly successful Stock Traders and how they grew a few thousand dollars into millions trading Penny Stocks in 3 to 5 years.  This was the Steve Harvey Show episode that stopped me like a deer in the headlights.

Follow this Blog as I embark on a Journey to learning Stock Trading and my desire to trade my way into Financial and Professional Independence.
